Bridgepoint Group

Bridgepoint Group was founded in 1984 as NatWest Equity Partners, the private equity arm of NatWest bank. The firm achieved independence in May 2000 through a management buyout and was renamed Bridgepoint Capital. Since then, the firm has raised numerous flagship funds, including the Europe series, and expanded its platform through strategic acquisitions such as Energy Capital Partners and Interpath.

The firm focus on middle-market investments across several specialized sectors, typically targeting companies with significant growth potential. In July 2021, Bridgepoint became a public company, listing on the London Stock Exchange and joining the FTSE 250 Index. The group operates internationally with a strong historical footprint in the European buyout market and growing capabilities in infrastructure and credit.
