Eurazeo is a leading French private equity firm and investment group headquartered in Paris with a diversified global portfolio.

Eurazeo was formed in 2001 through the merger of two investment entities with deep historical roots: Gaz et Eaux (founded in 1881) and Eurafrance (founded in 1969). Following its formation, the firm executed a series of major mergers and disposals to refine its investment strategy, absorbing Rue Impériale in 2004 and the business of Ateliers de Construction du Nord de la France (ANF) in 2005.

The firm has historically focused on selling legacy holdings to reinvest in a wide range of companies across diverse sectors. Significant expansion occurred through the acquisition of major European operators like Europcar and APCOA Parking. In recent years, Eurazeo has significantly increased its scale through the 2017 strategic investment in Rhône Group and the acquisition of a 70% interest in Idinvest Partners, which effectively doubled its assets under management.

Today, Eurazeo manages a diversified portfolio of billions in assets, including significant capital from third-party investors. The group operates several specialized divisions, such as Eurazeo PME and Eurazeo Croissance, and maintains a presence in international markets including the US and UK. Its activity spans from mid-market buyouts to venture capital and specialty sectors like fragrances and consumer goods.
