Fenway Partners is an American private equity firm specializing in leveraged buyout and growth capital investments in the middle market.

Founded in 1994 by Richard Dresdale and Peter Lamm, Fenway Partners is a New York-based private equity firm focused on middle-market opportunities. The firm has raised three flagship private equity funds since its inception, with the first closing at $525 million in 1996 and a second at $900 million in 1998. While the 1998 fund's performance was impacted by the dot-com bubble, the firm successfully raised a successor fund in 2006 and 2007 with approximately $700 million in commitments.

The firm's investment strategy centers on transportation logistics, consumer products, and manufacturing. One of its most notable long-term assets is its investment in Riddell Sports Group. In more recent years, reports have characterized the firm as having not raised a new flagship fund for some time, managing its existing portfolio of assets.

Fenway has been active in merging its portfolio companies to build market leaders, particularly in the sporting goods sector. This includes the high-profile merger of Riddell Sports Group with Bell Sports, and later the combined entity's merger with Easton Sports to create a dominant player in head protection and athletic equipment. Notable exits for the firm include the $900 million sale of 1-800 Contacts to WellPoint Inc. in 2012.
