BC Partners is a British international investment firm headquartered in London that manages assets across private equity, credit, and real estate in Europe and North America.

BC Partners was founded in 1986 as Baring Capital Investors Ltd. by Otto van der Wyck to advise funds providing development capital, particularly for management buyouts. After the collapse of Barings in 1995, the firm's principals completed a spinout to become the independent entity known today as BC Partners. Since its inception, the firm has completed 113 private equity investments with a total enterprise value of approximately 145 billion euros.

The firm operates primarily across Europe and North America, with its global headquarters in London and additional offices in New York, Paris, and Hamburg. It competes with other major large-cap private equity firms such as Blackstone, KKR, and CVC Capital Partners. BC Partners is known for raising some of the largest buyout funds in Europe, including its eighth fund in 2005 and BC Partners X in 2018.

In addition to its primary focus on private equity buyouts, the firm has expanded its platform to include credit and real estate strategies. Historically, the firm has been involved in significant large-scale transactions, including the 16.6 billion dollar leveraged buyout of satellite provider Intelsat and the record-breaking e-commerce acquisition of Chewy.com via its portfolio company PetSmart.
