Founded in 1996 in Zug, Switzerland, Partners Group has grown from a small investment pool into one of the world's most valuable publicly listed private markets firms. The firm reached a major milestone in 1998 by completing the largest secondary transaction recorded at the time with Royal Dutch Shell's U.S. pension fund.
