Founded in 1996 in Zug, Switzerland, Partners Group has grown from a small investment pool into one of the world's most valuable publicly listed private markets firms. The firm reached a major milestone in 1998 by completing the largest secondary transaction recorded at the time with Royal Dutch Shell's U.S. pension fund. Since its 2006 IPO on the SIX Swiss Exchange, it has expanded its footprint globally, establishing a significant presence in North America with its Broomfield, Colorado headquarters and expanding throughout Asia and Europe.
The firm operates a diversified investment platform covering private equity, private real estate, private infrastructure, and private debt. It is known for pioneering evergreen funds in private markets and launching the first European Long Term Investment Fund (ELTIF).
