Blue Owl Capital

Blue Owl Capital Inc. is an alternative investment asset management company formed in May 2021 through the merger of Owl Rock Capital Group and Dyal Capital Partners via a special-purpose acquisition company, Altimar Acquisition Corp. The firm is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange and manages a diverse portfolio across private credit, GP strategic capital, and real estate.

Since its inception, Blue Owl has aggressively expanded through acquisitions, including the purchase of real estate firm Oak Street Real Estate Capital and the business development office Ascentium Group. In 2024, it further strengthened its private credit capabilities by acquiring Atalaya Capital Management. The firm is a major player in the middle market and has recently engaged in large-scale infrastructure projects, such as a multi-billion dollar AI data center joint venture with Meta Platforms.
