Apax to sell food supply chain logistics provider Tosca to Goldman Sachs Alternatives

Apax Partners has agreed to sell Tosca, an Atlanta-based provider of reusable asset pooling and logistics solutions for the food supply chain, to Goldman Sachs Alternatives. Apax acquired Tosca in 2017. The transaction is expected to be completed in 2026.

Apax has agreed to sell Tosca, an Atlanta-based provider of reusable asset pooling and logistics solutions for the food supply chain, to Goldman Sachs Alternatives. No financial terms were disclosed. Tosca serves food producers, distributors and retailers across North America and Europe.

Apax Partners acquired Tosca in 2017.

Eric Frank serves as CEO of Tosca.

Charlotte Saury, managing director within infrastructure at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, said in a statement, “Tosca provides mission-critical supply chain infrastructure to non-discretionary, resilient staple food end markets. Through decades of investments into its network of pooling assets, service centers, and customer relationships, Tosca has established itself as a global leader in reusable asset pooling.”

The transaction is expected to be completed in 2026.
