Hg agrees sale of Quantios to Vista Equity Partners
Private equity firm Hg has agreed to sell its majority stake in trust and corporate services software provider Quantios to Vista Equity Partners.
Private equity firm Hg has agreed to sell its majority stake in Quantios, a provider of trust and corporate services software, to Vista Equity Partners. While the financial details of this transaction were not disclosed, the deal is expected to complete in the third quarter of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions. This move represents another successful exit for the technology-focused investor. Further details surrounding the valuation uplift or specific terms of the deal were not provided.
Hg first invested in TrustQuay in 2022. The firm subsequently combined TrustQuay with ViewPoint in 2023, a company previously owned by funds managed by EQT, to create Quantios. Since then, Quantios has expanded into a global software platform. The company now serves nearly 700 organizations in the trust and corporate services industry, offering its Quantios Core and Klea product suites.
Under Hg’s ownership, Quantios has focused heavily on embedding artificial intelligence into its software platform. Generative AI capabilities have been integrated into its core offering, and the company has also developed a suite of agentic AI tools designed to automate complex, regulated workflows for customers. The AI strategy was developed with support from Hg Catalyst, the firm’s dedicated AI engineering and incubation team, which helped launch Quantios’ first agentic AI solution earlier this year. Hg said the technology roadmap played a significant role in attracting buyer interest and supporting the company’s growth trajectory.
The transaction is expected to generate an uplift of around 30% to the carrying value of Hg’s investment, based on the firm’s latest valuation. The sale also represents the latest in a series of portfolio exits completed in 2026, following disposals involving treasury management software provider GTreasury and healthcare imaging software business Intelerad.
