Five Arrows Principal Investments

Five Arrows is the alternative assets division of Rothschild & Co, a multinational financial services group controlled by the French and British branches of the Rothschild family. The division functions as the firm's private equity and private credit arm, investing the firm's own capital alongside external institutional and private investors. It represents one of the three primary pillars of the Rothschild & Co group operations, alongside Global Advisory and Wealth and Asset Management.

Historically, the firm's private equity activities evolved from the merchant banking traditions of the N M Rothschild & Sons and Rothschild & Cie Banque houses. In 2007, the firm expanded its alternative investment reach by forming the Jardine Rothschild Asia Capital joint venture for growth capital. By late 2024, the Five Arrows division had grown to manage approximately 28 billion euros in assets. The firm maintains a significant presence in major financial centers, particularly London and Paris, leveraging the family's two-century legacy in global finance.
