Wynnchurch Capital has exited its investment in FloWorks, a Houston-based specialty distributor of flow control products. The acquirer is Ferguson, and the transaction is valued at $1.6 billion. The total consideration represents an acquisition multiple of 10x LTM adjusted EBITDA, including expected synergies of approximately $45 million. The investment in FloWorks allowed for considerable expansion, including seven add-on acquisitions since 2023. These strategic additions contributed to scaling FloWorks into a company with revenues approaching $1 billion, alongside an expanded geographical presence. The transaction is expected to close in Q3 2026, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.
